The CleanX CN SPE Cartridges are made from high-purity spherical silica functionalized with cyanopropyl groups, providing balanced polarity and controlled retention.This chemistry allows CleanX CN to function effectively in both reversed-phase (RP) and normal-phase (NP) extraction modes, making it an excellent choice for intermediate-polarity compounds.It is especially suited for simultaneous extraction of fat-soluble and water-soluble vitamins from plasma, and is also widely used for desalting and cleanup of biological macromolecular samples.The CleanX CN sorbent combines hydrophobic and polar interactions, allowing balanced retention of both polar and non-polar analytes.Its intermediate polarity makes it especially valuable when C18 sorbents retain too strongly and C8 too weakly, offering versatility across a wide analyte range.
